The frame was such a great gift, just a tip for framing she might be able to put additional mounting board (like foamcore) inside to lift the matchbooks forward if depth is a problem, like cutting squares smaller than the matches placed between them and the backing board to make it look like they're floating (hehe I work in a picture frame shop so ideas are endless). Also was super cute watching Link while you were showing the shopping haul

Kristen, you’re legitimately one of the most thoughtful people a friend could have. as you were talking about planning out Alex‘s birthday and you were going over the matchstick project you even made sure that the glue dots you were getting wouldn’t damage the pack of matches, that’s so incredibly thoughtful and it’s obvious that you put a lot care and attention to detail in all that you do and that’s pretty rad
